To Be Yourself Is All You Can Do

Been listening to some new songs lately, Audioslave - Be Yourself. Well ain't that the truth, it isn't fair to ask anyone of anything more than to be themselves and if you can't deal with them when they are being themself well you need to get with it, suck it up and deal or get lost. When they've allowed you to see them without their mask and you see them for who they really are stop, think, and be proud you were allowed that opportunity. If you don't like what you've found, too bad, that person now trusts you more than you know and you need to return the favor and be accepting for who they truely are. Foo Fighters - Best of You, is someone getting the best of you or are you just half assing it? Can they bring it out of you, or you just waiting, wanting them to take you for all your worth while you give them your all with nothing to show in return? Sometimes it pays to be scared, its our instincts telling us to hold off, keep cool and wait it out, other times it binds us more than any cell or chains ever could. It's a comfort zone that at the end of our journey we learn isn't really that comfortable after the pressing questions of "maybe" enters our brain and we can never go back to find out just what might have been. On the flip side others need to open their eyes and realize exactly what is infront of them, waiting, withering away right in front of them and take that chance because it may be too late tomorrow and sometimes breaking those chains is only possible with the help of another. Mariah Carey - We Belong Together everyone feels they belong to many people and hope that feeling is mutual. Sometimes it is mutual and both people know it, other times it is mutual and both wonder if it is each waiting for the other to step up first, lastly sometimes it's a lonely one way street that has long been closed and you're the only soul left walking it's path and only you can save yourself. The last one is the hardest to accept for anyone and why our brain is still stuck while the other person is long since gone is a mystery no one will every figure out, though you can stuff it down it will always be there till that final release when you can finally switch it off.

Movies and Stuff

So I watched House of Yawn and Kingdom of Blah the other day and as you can tell nothing good at all about either. The only thing good about House was Elisha Cuthbert, *GROWL* made me wish there was a super unrated Girl Next Door. I'm also glad I have the other cover for Girl Next Door , the more skin of her's I see the better. Paris Hilton in that movie, hrm lets see well she gets a pipe through the skull that was cool, other than that you know she can't act and you've already seen her naked so blah. Kingdom just seemed too long to ramp up to the good stuff and didn't even make up for it, I'm guessing Gladiator was Ridley Scott's epic cause this just plain dragged. Saw Star Wars EP III opening night, waiting in line with my crew for 8 hours, got the best seats you could ask for and it was worth it. However, I wish Star Wars EP I would have started out like this and got better from here, the other 2 really didn't seem to have the engergy this one did, who knows maybe because it was the last in this run it seemed more special. Kinda like Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter, or Friday the 13th Part 9: Jason Goes To Hell - The Final Friday or even Nightmare on Elm Street Part 6: Freddy's Dead - The Final Nightmare, see where I'm going with this. They aren't going to kill it off by a long shot but it would have been better to start strong and keep it up rather than just end strong with 2 so-so movies behind it.

Backwards World

So in the car yesterday, right after Mariah Carey - We Belong Together, on the radio some guy calls in about how he might not be in love with the woman he is going to marry on Saturday but rather just be marrying her for the money. Blah Blah Blah time passes then the calls come in, first 2 are people in the wedding party, yeah nice one there big fella, and they are pissed to all hell. Then women, yeah you heard me, call in and say do it, get married for the money. Hell one lady goes as far to say she married for love and it was so hard without being wined and dined every night she divorced the guy and married some rich guy to make herself happy. What?!? They people go on to say just try it and if it doesn't work out get a divorce no big deal. Huh?!? What kind of shit hole do we live in people are just getting married to try it out, what the hell is a serious relationship for? I know life didn't come with a book of instructions for everyone to follow but since when was marriage like a test drive? I really hope society isn't this back-ass-wards that everyone's up and getting married to try it out. And the best part in all of this woman were coming out of the woodwork to say go for it, not one guy called in. Women everywhere were sticking up for a guy who was just doing it for the money, tri-county area being everywhere. So now you see why all that crap about respecting the opposite sex for their mind and blah blah blah gets a "sure thing, " out of most guys. Maybe I'm over reacting, been known to happen lots of times, but I'm thinking someone is slipping the padre a $20 and whispering in his ear before the big day "skip over that "till death do us part" section father I'm only in it till the money runs out".
